Critiques

If anyone has a piece of poetry they'd like me to critique just note me with a link. I have far too much time on my hands.

I have crazy tired eyes.

I just wrote the world's longest journal entry over on my prose account and now I feel like I've been away for so friggin' long I owe this account a completely different but similarly themed exposition here. OKAY since we last spoke (11th of August 2008) I have become a fresher at the University of Hertfordshire and done a whole lot of learning about English Literature and some writing for creative writing. They made me do film too but I hated it and it is dropped. I'm one of those snobby people who think films aren't as important as books. Not even serious films. No-one wants your avaunt garde crap put Star Wars back on.

You know what the best part of an English Literature with creative writing degree is? The other people that do it. Not in general, I hate people in general, but there are some that are nice and I'm living with next year and I really like workshopping with them. It made me miss deviant art so much actually, so here I am. God I bet no-one is reading this, it's like singing to myself.

The second module on my course next year is writing the poem. I'm weirdly excited and scared about it considering it's such a way away and feedback on recent stuff I've put up would be so nice, I know I don't deserve it.

Born Afar, a poem from a considerable while ago- I need help with the middle stanza.

Saint Paul, I would love feedback and opinions.

Blue Drive - my newest. I really need some advice on this.

I have two half finished poems in my notebook that I hope to put up in the next fortnight. One is called Family Friend and is about failing exams (do you remember I was supposed to go to Lancaster ha?) and the other is called Swine Flu and it's about a nightmare I had where a headless naked corpse turned up in my bed. You're looking forward to it aren't you. Sicko.
